With currently about 12,000 videos and supplementary materials, the Mediathek für Tanz und Theater is one of the most extensive publicly accessible audiovisual documentation centers for the performing arts in Germany. It documents and archives developments in contemporary dance, theater and performative performance formats.

The Round Table Berlin Theater Archives is an internal forum of theaters, theater collecting institutions, collectives and artists documenting their work. It is coordinated by the ITI Germany.

The Association of German Dance Archives (VDT) brings together the five leading institutions for dance memory in Germany: the Archive of the Academy of Arts Berlin, the German Dance Archive Cologne, the German Dance Film Institute Bremen, the Dance Archive Leipzig and the Mediathek for Dance and Theater of the ITI Germany.

Performing the Archive is a collaborative project to develop an independent archive structure for the independent performing arts.

The ITI Germany is a member of the European Network of Information Centres for the Performing Arts (ENICPA), a European network of experts in the field of information, documentation and collections of the performing arts.
